Booking Your First Fitting

We recommend booking your first fitting no later than 8 weeks before your wedding date. It’s important to maintain your figure and weight from the first fitting right up to the big day - so please ensure any weight loss or gain goals are complete before attending your first fitting with Charlotte.

After your first fitting, Charlotte will schedule your refit. This allows us to assess the necessary alterations and ensure there’s plenty of time to complete them. Refits are typically booked 3–4 weeks after the first fitting. Please don’t worry - we have reserved slots for second fittings, so only first fittings need to be booked through this site.

To secure your fitting appointments, a non-refundable fee of £60 is required at the time of booking. This fee covers both your first and second fitting.

I honestly cannot thank Charlotte enough at Alexander Sharpe Bridal for making me feel absolutely stunning on our big day! From the minute I meet Charlotte I just knew that we were going to get on, she is the kindest sole and willing to do anything for her brides to really make them feel amazing in their dress. My dress probably wasn't one of the easiest for her to alter due to the material and there not being many seams for her to work with by my god did she do an amazing job. It fit like a glove, it was the perfect size and the perfect length.
There were some alterations that I wanted done to the straps of the dress and I explained this to Charlotte but she advised me that it may alter the look of the dress, and you have to trust the experts on these things because it just wouldn't have been the same. She told me exactly what she thought would and wouldn't work and I think that's what makes her SO good at her job.
I would recommend Charlotte 10000x over to anyone who is looking at getting their dress altered because you know you can trust everything she is doing, she wants you to feel just as amazing as you do!

I found Alexander Sharpe Bridal through a recommended seamstress list from my wedding dress supplier, and I was not disappointed!
On first meeting, I met Charlotte, who was absolutely amazing. The studio was beautiful and Charlotte’s expertise went totally above and beyond what I would have expected!
Safe to say I was absolutely over the moon with the end result and fit of my dress, which was made so comfortable for our big day.

What can I say about Charlotte… she really made me feel like a princess the day of my wedding and everyone was commenting on her amazing the dress looked.

Back in April I got married in Cyprus. I had already bought my wedding dress, but after losing quite a substantial amount of weight it was far too big. I had originally booked with another seamstress, but sadly she became very unwell and was admitted to hospital. She kindly recommended Alexandra Sharp Bridal to me — and I will forever be grateful that she did.

From my very first phone call with Charlotte, she was warm, empathetic and so accommodating. Normally you have to book well in advance, but once I explained my situation she immediately reassured me and fit me in without any hesitation. She completely understood the pressure I was under and worked with me every step of the way to get my dress perfect in time.

What she managed to do was nothing short of phenomenal. She took a dress that was two sizes too big and transformed it into my dream wedding dress. It fit like an absolute glove — I truly felt the best I have ever felt.

Charlotte’s professionalism, skill and attention to detail are incredible. Her work is stunning and I honestly couldn’t have wished for more. She turned what could have been a stressful situation into a wonderful experience, and I can’t recommend her highly enough.
