Services

Bridal First Fitting

BOOKING & FITTING INFORMATION

First Fitting
Please book your First Fitting approximately 8 weeks before your wedding by selecting a Tuesday within that week.

During your appointment, we’ll discuss how you’d like your dress to fit, professionally pin all required alterations and create your personalised alteration plan.

Once your dress has been pinned, it will remain with us while your alterations are completed.

As we alter your dress to the exact pin marks from your First Fitting, it is essential that you maintain your weight from this appointment onwards to ensure the finished fit is exactly as intended.

Second Fitting
Please book your Second Fitting for approximately 4 weeks after your First Fitting. Second Fittings take place on Thursdays.
By this appointment, your alterations will be complete, and you’ll try on your finished dress before taking it home or booking collection..

Fitting Fee - £75 includes:
• First Fitting
• Second Fitting
• Dress Collection
• Secure dress storage and insurance

Booking Your Second Fitting
Once you’ve booked your First Fitting, you’ll receive an email with a link to book your Thursday Second Fitting. We recommend booking this as soon as possible to secure your preferred appointment.

Additional Fittings
Most brides require just two fittings. Extra Fittings are charged at £35 per appointment.

Bridal Alterations Second Fitting (refit appointment)

**THIS APPOINTMENT IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO EXISTING ALEXANDER SHARPE BRIDES WHO HAVE ALREADY BOOKED THEIR FIRST FITTING**

Second Fitting (Book 4 Weeks After Your First Fitting)
Please book this appointment as soon as you’ve booked your First Fitting.

Your Second Fitting should be scheduled for approximately 4 weeks after your First Fitting and takes place on a Thursdays only.

Booking both appointments in advance helps secure your preferred dates and keeps your alterations journey running smoothly.

By your Second Fitting, your alterations will be complete and your dress will be ready to try on. We’ll check the fit together, after which you can either take your dress home or book a separate collection appointment.

Your dress will be altered to the exact pin marks taken at your First Fitting, so we kindly ask that you maintain a stable weight between appointments to help us achieve the perfect fit for your wedding day.

Charlotte did such a great job with my wedding dress alterations. I never thought I’d love my dress MORE after the alterations than before (as I was having quite a bit off the length of the dress) but I did! Plus Charlotte has a tonne of useful wedding tips — she could double up as a wedding planner. The studio is gorgeous too.
